Hello Le Piano Family,
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Le Piano's owner, Chad Willetts.
He was a visionary; a true artist who dedicated his life to spreading joy and love for music.
He will be sorely missed.
In his honor, we will continue his dream and keep the music alive here at Le Piano.
We will be hosting a 3 night tribute show for Chad Willetts combined with the celebration of Le Piano's 7 Year Anniversary. Come if you can, tickets will be $30 and can be purchased above. Details for each show listed below. You don't want to miss it.
The Beat Goes On: A Chad Willets Tribute
Friday, Nov 21st from 7pm - 11pm
With the Chris White Quartet featuring Markus Rutz on trumpet, Dave Williams on drums, Anthony D Augustino on bass and Chris White on Piano. There will also be a special appearance by jazz vocalist Libby York.
Chad Willets: The Dream Lives On
Saturday November 22nd from 7pm - 11pm
featuring Chicago jazz favorite Spider Saloff, Petra van Nuis and Dennis Lexion and the Bradley Williams Quartet
Our Funny Valentine: A Tribute to Chad Willetts
Sunday November 23 from 5pm - 8pm
Hosted by Daryl Nitz, Suzanne Petri, and Barb Bailey, with musical direction by Ester Hana and Stacy McMichael on bass. featuring Glenn Anderson, Stephen Decker, David Edelfelt, Cindy Firing, Mark Grayson, Alex Magno, Sonia Oyola, Suzanne Petri, Devon Sandridge, Bob Solone, Chris Stuart, and the Swinging Sisters (Carolyn Broquet, Barb Smith, Tirzah Joy).
The music continues with Jose Valdez Trio with Brazilian Latin Jazz starting at 8pm to 10pm.
